Where should we stay?
We would recommend staying in Dublin City Centre, since there are plenty of hotels and Airbnbs available. We will be providing buses from Dublin City Centre to Killruddery and then transportation back from Killruddery to Dublin City Centre at the end of the night (exact details to follow). We will provide some recommendations for accomodation in the "Where To Stay" tab over the next few months, but feel free to contact us if you need something sooner.
Will there be anything on the night before or day after the wedding?
We will be gathering for a few pints and nibbles the night before (Friday) in Doheny & Nesbitt's pub in Dublin City Centre. Exact timing TBC. There will not be anything to attend the day after (Sunday) so you are free to recover in peace!
Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?
Weather permitting, the drinks reception will take place on the lawn immediately next to where we will have the ceremony. Otherwise, we will have the reception indoors. The ceremony and dinner will take place entirely indoors. There will be a short walk, outdoors, from the drinks reception space to the main reception space.
How do I get to and from the wedding venue?
We will provide buses from Dublin City Centre to Killruddery and then transportation back from Killruddery to Dublin City Centre at the end of the night (exact details to follow). You also have the option of taxi service. Ireland uses FreeNow as their main taxi service, although you may have luck with Uber. Killruddery will also list taxi service phone numbers at the venue.
Will the ceremony and reception all take place at the same venue?
Yes, both the ceremony and the immediately following reception will all take place at Killruddery House and the grounds.
Are children allowed?
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be adults-only.
